1) Where are you from?
I’m from Puerto Rico, but I’ve been living in New York for about two years now.
2) Why is important for you to learn English?
It’s important for me to learn English because I want better job opportunities, I want to communicate with native people and be able to
share experiences, knowledge, suggestions, ideas, etc without a language barrier. Furthermore, I know that English is an international language so I would like to travel to other countries, learn and understand more about their culture.
3) How are the SQA classes helping you to achieve your goals?
SQA classes is helping me to create more confidence in myself, to lose the fear of speaking in front of other people. In the same way, sharing class with other students from different cultures and accents helps me develop my listening skills. Professor Seeraj, makes sure that we understand all the material discussed. He brings different activities to the class that challenge us intellectually, he does group activities to practice our speaking skills, he provides us with homework to practice at home.
I am currently taking another English course, and definitely the course I am taking with SQA is more complete and exposes me more to the conversational English that we must use so much daily. Overall, a great course and I definitely want to continue taking future courses from this great program. Without a doubt, I will recommend the course to other people.

2) Why is it important for you to learn English?
It is important, useful, and very beneficial for personal and cultural development.
3) How do SQA classes help you achieve your goals?
It makes me remember that it is good to learn another language, know it, and learn it. We release our emotions more easily: joy, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, love… It keeps us busy, entertained, and distracted. SQA has helped excellent and successful development.
4) What advice would you give to someone who wants to learn English?
My advice is that it is wonderful to learn and develop another language in every way and excellent for personal growth. It is without a doubt one of the best habits you can acquire. Keep in mind that it is never too late to learn or improve.

I’m from Brazil.
2) Why is important for you to learn English?
Improve my English is important to get better opportunities for job, make friends around the world and learn more about American culture.
3) How are the SQA classes helping you to achieve your goals?
SQA classes are helping me a lot, I’m learning new vocabulary, making new friends and now I feel more confident to communicate. I’m practising my listening too… so I know I’ll be able to get a better job!
4) What is one advice you would give to someone who wants to learn English?
Don’t be shy to ask questions or afraid to have a bad pronunciation. Everyone knows we are there to learn and the teacher is very kind and patient.

Is very important for me to study English because I can help my daughter to do his homework and I can understand when people speak with me.

SQA is helping me to improve my English with its practice and classes full of vocabulary.

Because in this country (United States)we can have more opportunity’s if we know the language.
3) How are the SQA classes helping you to achieve your goals?
I appreciate SQA because they are helping people to learn English, SQA is helping me a lot to improve myself, to talk to people who only speak English.
4) What is one advice you would give to someone who wants to learn English?
My advice is that it isn’t easy but it isn’t difficult to learn English, and also one needs time and sacrifice to get better with the language.
